"As a society we expect no man, especially a police officer, to abuse their position of power to attack, humiliate and dehumanize a woman - especially one half their size. The BART Police Officers that attacked Ms. SaTae’zja Devereaux disrespected their badge and violated the public’s trust. They are unfit to be police officers. Simply put, there is no way a simple train ride home should have resulted in her being left bloodied, beaten, and in bondage all because Officers suspected her of not paying her transit fare. We demand accountability!"
